AIME Primer

Final Thoughts

In walnut shell, there you have it...

These are the primary tools used within the AIME system; I introduce a couple more in the course, which complement the ones covered here but, overall, you get the picture: Nothing too fancy, yet all are tested and proven!

Again, for me, trading really boils down to: looking at pictures, drawing some pictures, and a little basic math. And, while the tools we select can be important, "HOW" well we use them is even more so.

You might consider this: Every professional golfer is allowed a limited number of clubs in their bag; every tennis player has a racquet; and every pianist plays the same basic instrument. So, what separates the greats from the also-rans ... the Tiger Woods, Andre Agassies and Billy Joels of this world from the rest of the pack?

Basically, it's their understanding of and proficiency with the tools they use - which comes through study, practice, desire and commitment. That's it. And so it is with trading.

Of course, some might argue the people who are tops in their respective fields, especially sports, possess some natural ability or genetic pre-disposition not available to everyone.

Guess what? There's good news!

In trading, you don't have to be a superstar to succeed. You just need to be right more than you're wrong. Consistency is key; and, with the right tools, approach and attitude, consistency can be developed.

AIME was designed to layout a trading method in a logical and understandable format; to take what many see as complex and make it as clearcut as possible. With this in mind, I keep tweaking the system and how it's presented, knowing Mr. Einstein was on to something when he said:

"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler."

I hope to hear from you very soon. Until then?

Be well and live large!
