"Finally. A Professional, Step-by-Step Approach to Profitably Trading Foreign Currencies... for Everyone" |
You’re here!
It’s just a guess, but chances are you didn’t show-up because you’re searching for basic information about the foreign exchange market (forex), right? After all, there’s plenty of “that” all over the internet.
Nope. Something tells me you landed at this page because a friend suggested you stop by, or maybe you heard about AIME at an online bulletin board or chat room. Again, it’s just a guess, but I say this because I don’t advertise and most of the people I’ve worked with have told me this is EXACTLY how they found AIME.
And that’s great to know!
You see, if I had to spend thousands of dollars on clever ad campaigns or promote AIME at every forex-related trade show (boy, there sure are a lot these) setting-up a slick booth and handing out cheap pens, key chains and glossy fliers to convince people AIME is what they need to elevate their trading, simply put, I wouldn’t do it. |
|
Proof and Pudding |
It’s not because I don’t care about you. I DO. But I only want to share AIME if “how” I teach the system I trade can help others produce positive results. I already know it works for me. The question I had to ask myself when I started working with other traders was: “Will it work for them, too?”
So the “proof in the pudding” is if AIME didn’t work then nobody would say anything good about it. And if that was the case, then why bother teaching it? At least that’s the way I see it.
Make sense?
I hope so. That said, I’m honored when people share their positive AIME experiences with associates, friends and family. It means I’m doing something right and teaching a trading system that’s both workable and worthwhile. THIS is a very good thing.
Oh, by the way…
In case you’re wondering, the answer to “Will it work for them, too?” has been a resounding “Yes!” (click here to see what folks are saying)
The information you’ll find here provides a good overview of what to expect from AIME and the AIME workshops (and soon to be released video course – more on this later). If you’re new to forex trading, don’t worry. Some introductory forex info is on its way. But if you’re NOT new to forex trading or you’ve traded other markets, then now’s a good time to tell you a little about AIME… after all, this is why you’re here! |
Keeping Things Simple |
Honestly, there are a thousand or more ways to trade. AIME is just one.
In a walnut shell, AIME helps you go about your trading systematically. Actually, it almost forces you to. Thank goodness! Because a lack of discipline is what kills most traders. Eliminate THAT problem, and you’re well on your way to trading success.
Okay…
Over the years, I finally figured out that we (or at least I) basically do three things:
- Look at pictures
- Draw pictures
- Some very simple math
|
Of course, understanding what the pictures tell you and how to draw them is what takes time. As for the math, well, it’s really just basic addition and subtraction (and AIME eliminates most of it).
Now, there are people out there who’ll make trading out to be a whole lot more; you know, “complicate” things. And when you listen to them explain what they do and how they do it, there’s a pretty good chance your head will start spinning – especially if you’re new to this business.
That’s fine. Whatever works for them is great and there’s always more than one way to skin a frog. I’m just saying, at a basic level, “looking at pictures, drawing pictures, and simple math” is what I do – and now lots of others do, too. I have to admit, for me, breaking things down to their most simple form is what works best.
|
A Method to the Madness |
Prior to every trading session and for each and every trade, there’s a sequence you should follow. If not, then you’re “shooting from the hip,” and probably spend a lot of time hoping you hit your targets – and if you’re praying instead of hoping, well, you might want to re-think that strategy, too ;- ) Call me “crazy,” but there’s a much better way to trade (just a thought ;- ) |
| |
Here’s the AIME trading routine:
A - Assess the market
I - Identify opportunities
M - Move into a trade (enter)
Monitor the trade
Move out of the trade (exit)
E - Evaluate the trade
With each of the above steps, there’s a specific tool (or tools) we use. I’ll share those in a minute but for now just know a specific routine is far superior to trading “on the fly.” |
Understandable. Teachable. Duplicable |
Here’s a little history.
It was December 2003 when I decided to put my trading “process” on paper in a systematic format for my best friend. It took about six months and (as tough as it was) I learned plenty through the process. But to keep things short and sweet, I’ll just say this about AIME and what I teach:
My goal isn’t to blow your mind with some esoteric, whiz bang introduction to a group of magical and mysterious trading tools.
How come?
Well, in my opinion, these aren’t really necessary. That’s not to say there aren’t any new ideas or tools available to help make your trading easier. There are… and I share a handful of my own. More importantly, though, what’s different and even exciting about AIME is how the technical indicators and trading method are integrated to identify opportunities, pinpoint targets, and secure profits… and to do so confidently.
Forget the hype and empty promises. If that’s what you’re looking for to get inspired or even interested, sorry, but you’ll be disappointed, I’m sure.
The good news is you’ll find plenty of those sites on the internet, complete with promotional copy that glues your eyes to your monitor, puts a goofy smile on your face, and gets you to hypnotically reach for your credit card (after all, that’s what they’re designed to do).
Instead of tap dances and emotional appeals, I prefer to tell it like it is – from where I sit and where I’ve been – so there are few surprises and you’re set-up to win in the long term. And having traded for a brokerage and as the Senior Trader-Analyst for a managed fund, I’ve seen a lot. Personally, a straight–forward approach is what has always worked best for me and if it works for you, then we’re walking down the same path. |

| |
This is the basis of AIME. While it’s very much a stand alone way to trade the markets (you can use it to trade stocks, futures and commodities, too), it’s just one way to go about it – and it’s a good one.
If you’re new to trading, experience says AIME is a great place to start. Most traders spend months, if not years, jumping from trading system to trading system, indicator to indicator trying to find the Holy Grail.
Um… truthfully, there isn’t one. But with AIME, you’ll have a proven set of tools and methodology you can count on day in and day out.
And what if you’ve been trading for any length of time?
Chances are you’ll find some valuable components to add to what you’re currently doing. Let’s face it. The biggest hurdle to learning anything new is deciding you already know everything there is to know about something. So that’s kind of a silly thing to do, right?
You and I both know there’s always more than one way to get a job done (again, to skin that proverbial frog). And most traders eventually work out a personalized trading style that incorporates the techniques, knowledge and experience they gain over time… which is pretty much how we go about and make it through life, right?
Trading is no different.
The bottom line is AIME works (which is why other forex education organizations have asked me to train their students; odd but true). Best of all, there’s a very good chance it will work for you, too.
If you’re committed to learning this business and willing to invest some time, energy and effort to achieve success, I look forward to meeting you down the road. Until then…
Be well and live large!

P.S. What does it mean to “Live large”? click here. |

Thanks for asking ;-)
The context in which I use "Live large!" has little to with finance or wealth, and everything to do with looking and living outside of yourself - beyond the confines of the walls WE put in place.
Let me explain.
Over the years, life can have a way squashing us if we let it. Mounting pressures from work, family, the news, our day-to-day relationships (there are many little things that start adding-up) eventually take their toll and before we know it, all we're concerned with is making it through another day.
Yikes!
For many of us, when we were kids, we were excited to face the morning. Heck, we didn't even want to go to bed at night for fear of missing out on something! And the game we played was "create"... which meant finding new adventures, making new friends, playing and dancing and doing "whatever" without caring about life's little nuisances or being judged by anyone. We were who we were, living "out there," outside of ourselves.
Remember those days? If you don't, go to the beach or a park and watch how kids play with each other when they're not being controlled by some "well-meaning" adult - when they aren't being told what to do and how to do it.
Ahhh... joy! They're living large.
But at some point along the way, we decided to get "serious" and the fun of living began to fade. Making a living took precedence over creating a life and we started believing we lived in a dog-eat-dog world (and acting accordingly). Everything became VERY significant and fitting-in was more important than expanding out.
And the "world" (and a small percentage of people) wants you to fit in, to succumb to its pressures, to not make waves, to be like everyone else, to conform. But this suppression is what kills our spirit - if we let it!
The solution?
Eliminate the negative people around you. Find ones who, instead of complaining about life and work and "circumstances", look for solutions and are proactive vs. reactive. Expand instead of contract. Say what you mean; mean what you say. Disagree with convention and conformity and the goofy idea of keeping up with the "Joneses". Do something bigger than yourself. Create a positive effect on your environment and those around you.
This is living large. It's about being free and really experiencing and enjoying life. There's no dollar amount attached to it... although in living large enough and continually creating a positive effect, the potential to have everything you want in life is without limits.
How large is living large? How long is a piece of string.... |
